What's your vision?
Greed Greed is a unique, humorous strategy game previously developed for feature phones but being ported to iPad and iPhone. It needs a big visual update. The game sets players as the “power behind it all” of an American corporation on its way to blowing up. The player controls certain key executives, and competes with other “pupeteers” making decisions for their executives. The player tries to collect the most money in his offshore slush-fund before the corporation is finally run into the ground. 2 Screen Resolutions need to be designed: 960 x 640 for iPhone (3.5"), 1.024 x 768 for iPad (9.7")) The sample screens to be designed as part of this contest are: 1 - Intro Splash Screen 2 - Main Menu Screen 3 - Hierarchy Screen showing the upper management (org chart) 4 - Event Sample Popup In addition to vector versions of the above we will need art assets for: - iOS icon for the game - 3 sample “portraits” of executives used in the hierarchy and event screens above Included as attachments are explanation and sample for each of the above screens from original low-res version. In addition there is a sampling of game events to help the designer get a better understanding of the game concept. The sample screens are provided as additional information but the style does not need to follow the ones in the sample. The style should be cartoony, humorous and just a bit dark reflecting the subject matter while maintaining a message of fun. It is a game after all.
Frequent feedback will be given and we look forward to seeing everyone’s designs! Hopefully we can capture the dark humor appropriate for this unique game.
