Real Estate & Mortgage
We provide a marketing system for real estate agents who sell residential homes (Realtors), which includes a newsletter they send to their contacts. The newsletter is called "Just For Laughs". We already have a logo but need a header image for the top of the HTML email template.
What's your vision?
We need a header image for the top of our HTML email template. Here is the start of our design: http://fortecommunications.com/images/jfl/example-header-image.html This logo and colors need to be used, but we need creative help adding a "fun" element that makes the header image unique and interesting. The newsletter is called "Just For Laughs" and it has funny stories, clean jokes, and helpful information for Realtors to send to their contacts. Audience is broad -- general consumers in the U.S. *** Here are some ideas based on the attached example: I've attached an example of what we use for our print newsletter (which is B&W). Notice the smiley face on the right side? We need something like that added to our color HTML design and incorporated in to a top header image. But we don't want it to be cheesy like this example. We also don't want to use the stars and we don't want to make our current logo smaller. Maybe some funny character or drawing added to the right side would look good. We could even shift the current logo and tagline to the left to add an image to the right side of the dark blue area (if it looked balanced). This could be a person, character, or cartoon drawing -- use your creative talent! *** SPECS: File type = .jpg (and .psd) Size = 590 width Height of the dark blue area should be 120 px - Need to update current look to have equal dark blue space above the logo and below the tagline so it looks vertically centered. Probably need to move tagline a little closer to reflection of logo to make it look more balanced with just as much dark blue above and below.
*** UPDATE: I've added the vector file (JustForLaughs_EmailTemplate.ai) to this design brief, so you can cut out the top area to make the header image. I need this part of our design updated with a fun and unique element on the right side: http://fortecommunications.com/images/jfl/JustForLaughs_EmailTemplate-Header.jpg
