As suggested in the sub-title it is about a family listening to God for direction in their life. This is a book about triumph not defeat the design should not be dark or negative. If you use people in your design they should not be ethnic specific – we do not want to exclude anyone. Below is an idea from the author - I have included the picture (the picture is not the authors – do not use on cover). Please feel free to use this idea or to be creative with your ideas. A big comfy chair by a window with a blanket over the side arm and a small side table with a cup of coffee, a book or a vase of flowers. An EMPTY chair. No one is sitting in it. It's an invitation. A picture to draw the buyer/reader in to sit down in a soft, cozy, safe place and listen to our story - the pain, the joy, the miracles - and hopefully find hope in their situation by hearing what God did in ours. It's not a trendy, fashionable chair, but a clean, comfortable, cozy and inviting big chair, in a nice middle-class home (not a designer home), as it needs to speak to the majority of readers. The chair needs to feel like an intimate place you can go to cuddle up, cry, read a book, sit silently to pray or listen to God. It needs to look like a place you can go when you're dealing with something really difficult. Initially I saw the chair being a soft ivory (not white) chair, but there are light blues and greens surrounding the chair (drapes, wall color, etc.). Possibly integrate some soft yellow flowers on a table beside the chair (or somewhere in the image) to represent hope. I will look forward to seeing what you come up with! Thanks and have a great day! Dean
While ths is a religious book please do not use christian symbols on the cover Thanks
