This is a tongue-in-cheek book on becoming a father and the common shared surprises and experiences and words of wisdom. It is intended to be light, fun and funny, but also sentimental and serious. I absolutely love being a father and have the greatest 4 year old daughter anyone could ask for, so the book is a tribute to the experience.
I am no expert, so in a sense this book makes fun of guides and advice books. One piece of advice, in summary and for instance, is to stop caring when Play Doh dries out. Play-Doh is meant to dry out - it is inevitable, but we spend so much time trying to gather the little drying pieces and yelling at our 1 year old that we are allowing this super cheap toy to destroy the family unit. We can only win by letting the stuff dry out without traumatizing our infants.
So... like I said... it's meant to be fun. From one guy to another.
The book will be 5.5" x 8.5", soft cover and should be light hearted, etc.
There will be a subtitle.
