Attorney & Law
We are a small boutique law firm that focuses its practice on business and franchise law. This includes focusing on issues relating to trademarks and intellectual property. We have industry specific focuses including the footwear and apparel industry.
What's your vision?
I am looking to design a book cover for a new book focusing on the legal concerns of the footwear and apparel industry. This book will cover issues including trademarks, trade secrets, product labeling, copyrights, government compliance and issues relating to partners, employees and independent contractors. The working title will be "The Footwear and Apparel Legal Guide to Protecting Your Brand and Your Business Assets". Working subtitle will be "A Straightforward Guide to Recognizing the Value of Your IP and Shielding Your Business from Unnecessary Litigation and Harassment from Competitors as You Expand and Grow Your Business". I will need to have the design customizable because the title will likely change during the process. As far as the look and feel of the book cover, I want it to have the feel of a sketch/notebook. I have attached a file of the image I use for my blog and want it to have a similar feel to it. I am willing to use the same image on the book cover but that is open. If you can create something better, I will use that. Really open to any ideas. The target client will really not be a "high fashion" company (but I do not want to deter them) but more of a mid-sized/beginning footwear and apparel company that appeals to younger. Some examples of perfect clients would be www.vivobarefoot.com, www.suprafootwear.com or www.yrbnyc.co. Companies that you would find in SOHO rather than Park Avenue. Want it to look grungy but still professional. Not sure if that makes sense but lets see what you can come up with. Thanks.
Looking for someone to work with on multiple projects. From this book cover we are also going to create a newsletter and direct marketing materials.
