What's your vision?
Professional book cover for a traditional paperback novel in the following formats hi res JPG and PDF; finished dimensions: 4 1/4 x 7 1/2 FRONT x 1 x 7 1/2 BINDING EDGE (SIDE) x 4 1/4 x 7 1/2 BACK Considerations: cover or elements of paperback cover will be used for Ebook, marketing pieces, etc. Back of book blurb: Could love be a nip/tuck away? Having endured her mother's fourth wedding, hypnotized by reruns of Extreme Makeover, and tempted by Zvengali-esque image consultant Kennedy J, über bridesmaid Dot Lindell launches into an odyssey of self improvement, plastic surgery and therapy. What price will she pay? Bridesmaid is a darkly comic tale of transformation and choices, frenemies and friendship, the heroic saga of a nice woman who just wants to look in a mirror and feel beautiful. Things to know: the heroine Dot Lindell has weight issues, self image issues, self confidence issues; she undergoes major plastic surgery to improve her physical appearance; she suffers through group therapy, a rape and a suicide attempt. Despite all the dark subject matter, the first person narrator has a (darkly) comedic voice. The over arching subject: where do you draw the line for beauty in a world where you KNOW it matters?
If you have questions, I'm happy to answer them (I understand the creative process sometimes creates questions). I'm attaching some examples that DID NOT WORK. Other covers that have the right 'feel' are: "Where'd You Go, Bernadette?" by Maria Semple and the cover for Sylvia Day's "afterburn | afterchock."
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at $299.
