Entertainment & The Arts
TITLE: DEATH'S COMPANION AUTHOR: MONIQUE D. MENSAH This is a dark psychological thriller meant for adult readers. I will be self-publishing this book in paperback and e-book form.
What's your vision?
Please design a chilling, haunting, eye-catching book cover for a dark psychological thriller that is cohesive with my previous book covers. I want a clean and simple design and the cover must be in BLACK AND WHITE with a touch of RED (similar to my previous book covers). You MUST use the image below for the front cover (DC MAIN COVER IMAGE). I will not accept any covers that do not have this image on the front cover. You MUST add blood to the woman's wrist to make it apparent that she has just slit her wrists with the glass (she has slit both wrists, but we can't see the other one). I would like to see the glass bottles be more visible against the black background if possible. Please feel free to use the other images for the back cover or not at all. I will leave that up to you and what you can come up with. See description of the book below: BACK COVER SYNOPSIS: The fear of a failed suicide attempt is the only thing that sustains Kameron Peace's life, and a fifth of vodka a day keeps a bleak reality away. After what happened in the past, she now has nothing to live for. But when a concerned colleague reminds her of the bright and ambitious woman she once was, Kameron puts in a call to a recommended therapist for healing. She is willing to try anything to silence the pains of the past and gain a sliver of normalcy, even her new therapist’s unorthodox treatment. Bridget Garret’s psychotic husband disappeared five years ago and she should be ashamed of her overwhelming desire to have him back, but she’s not ashamed; she’s determined. But when she hires a private investigator to track him down and bring him home, she never anticipated having to balance the task of finding her husband with the demands of her new suicidal client, Kameron Peace; nor did she expect that Kameron’s therapy sessions would play a vital role in bringing closure to a five-year-old mystery. As Kameron’s fleeting sanity quenches Bridget’s thirst for answers, they both come to find that what they thought to be a psychological breakthrough was just a shrewd disguise for absolute ruin.
I've uploaded four images. The first one, the woman sitting up with the glass in her hand, is the image that must be on the front cover (DC MAIN COVER IMAGE). Please add blood to the woman's wrist to show that she has just slit her wrists with the glass. If possible, please make the glass bottles more visible against the black background. The other three images are optional for the back cover or anything else you can think to do with them. If you use them, please add blood to her wrist for these as well. I do realize that the woman is holding the glass in the same hand of the wrist she has cut. She has cut both wrists, but we just can't see the other one. I have also uploaded the images of my previous four book covers for reference. Please make this cover fit in with the rest.
