We are a non-profit that promotes poetry work in Spanish, books about poetry and maintains websites where young poets can find poems, post poems, etc.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The book is a collection of poems. The main topic of the collection is to have a voice through poetry. The cover has to be black and white only, simple and clean. In the book white signifies silence (when there are no words, no poem written on a page, there is silence) and black signifies voice, sounds (the black ink makes the poem alive).
The design must be 11.6 tall x 8.2 in wide and made of four parts (5.6 by 4.1) . The cover will not have the book title or author in it, only the design.
Other notes
Be free to design your own work of art; you can use letters, letter shapes but no words. Even if we need a black & white design, you can use shades of gray as long as it supports a shape (like a shadow)
