What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The purpose of this contest is to find somebody to design the whole series, including 3D EBook Collection and Paperback. The winner awarded will be contacted for a separate 99Designs Project, where pricing for books 2-5, 3D EBook Collection and Paperback can all be worked out.
Four Book "Royal Blood" Series Covers
This contest is to find somebody to design a series of 4 covers and a single Full series cover (5 total). Feel free to design only one or two covers for this contest, as the full set will be handled via a separate 99Designs Project. These will all need to be provided in .psd editable Photoshop versions (as we need to update titles for translations). These professional-quality covers should clearly communicate that these novellas are: romance, adult, vampire-themed, and set in a contemporary timeframe.
A series is about a family of vampire royals, fighting to control their kingdom. The setting is the contemporary, modern world (modern clothing), where magic and supernatural creatures exist. These books are not YA and have explicit sexual content.
We'll need the title and author name included on all covers; subtitles and series name can be included or not as you see fit

Book 1 Information: Our male protagonist (white man with brown hair/brown eyes) has to battle his brother to protect our female protagonist, who is an artist (white redhead with blue eyes). Set in a contemporary castle.
Book 2: The Vampire's Lair
Subtitle: A Paranormal Romance
Series Name: Royal Blood
Book 2 Information: Our male protagonist is a private investigator (Asian man), and a Prince in the vampire royalty. Our female protagonist is a short, blonde, white woman who is an ecological conservationist, specializing in ensuring the survival of near-extinct birds (fictional bird species that is half ostrich, half vulture, all ugly). Setting = isolated modern mansion in the woods
Book 3: The Vampire's Escape
Subtitle: A Paranormal Romance
Series Name: Royal Blood
Book 3 Information: Our male protagonist is a black man with steampunk sensibilities. He’s an absent-minded inventor, and a Prince in the vampire royalty. Female protagonist is white, blond female in late 30s. Setting = dark Gothic castle with a classic Dracula feel.
Book 4: The Vampire's Choice
Subtitle: A Paranormal Romance
Series Name: Royal Blood
Book 4 Information: Our male protagonist is white man with brown hair/brown eyes. Female protagonist is a Latina woman with green eyes who has a gold-colored griffon large enough for a person to ride. They are battling four giant Titans: personification of a hurricane, rock slide, volcano, and ice storm. Setting = mountains/forests, contemporary time period.
Other notes
Have fun with it! Note that these books are targeted toward adult romance readers, with adult characters in sexy situations, and are not YA. Think sexy naked torsos and kissing couples.
