We are two German freelance translators who work for successful American selfpublishers. We not only translate their books into German but also help them to launch and market their books in Germany. Our target group are selfpublished authors who are looking for German translators and are interested in learning more about the translation process and the German book market.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We have written a comprehensive guide to buying German translations, titled "Selling your novel in Germany - How to end up with a real Krautpleaser." It will be released as e-book only. We are looking for a cover that conveys our expert status on the subject matter and is catchy enough to grab the attention of American self-publishers.
Other notes
While the book is targeted mainly at US authors, we feel that flags should be avoided on the cover to make sure other authors (from the UK, Canada, Australia, etc.) can feel addressed as well.
