I have written a novel to be published as an e-book. I want a book cover that I can use on Amazon, Google, Apple and other e-book platforms.

The book is about Cultism in 1970s Chicago, so get creative!

Please ensure you read my description and the synopsis provided.

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?

I want a design which immediately arouses curiosity, if you can evoke a sense of unease and paranoia that's a bonus!!

Title - 'To Follow a Maniac' (ALL CAPS)
Sub Title - 'Chase Harrington' (ALL CAPS)

Key Themes - 1970s Chicago, Cultism, Drugs, Journalism, and the colour Purple.

I'm not a huge fan of stock images and would prefer illustrations, however, if you feel it necessary to your design then I may consider the use of stock images.

Essentially I want you to channel your inner-creativeness and make a piece of art which REALLY stands out. I would prefer a minimal approach (See references in 'Other' section), with the final design being something which will stay in somebody's mind... So create something powerful!

Synopsis -

'Set in 1970s Chicago, To Follow a Maniac follows the story of two young men; Tobias, a journalism graduate who secures his first job as a junior writer for the Chicago Herald, and Isaac, a Chemistry drop-out who wishes for revolution by establishing a cult.

Tobias is given a special assignment by the Chicago Herald to detail his findings on Isaac's cult for an exposé.

With the cult becoming ever more popular, Tobias' dangerous double life as a journalist and cult member fuels his paranoia as he eventually becomes Isaac's right-hand man.

Finally, Tobias goes too far in with the cult and finds that once you join, it's almost impossible to leave.'
