Art & Design
I write fiction for the English market. My books are intended for the young adult to mature and can be classified as thriller and/or science fiction.
What's your vision?
I need a book cover for my next book. It will be available as eBook, pocket and, if all goes well, as hardcover. The cover will be send as print (on forex or aluminum) to backers from my upcoming Kickstarter project. The book is set in the future. An apocalyptic event plunged the world into a new ice age. Seas have retreated and the polar caps cover more land then ever. The book is set in the town of Du Bois (based on the real world town "Den Bosch" in The Netherlands). The town is surrounded by barren, flat tundra. Around the town the people erected a four story high steel wall. There are guard towers at intervals and between them multiple automated guns on top of the wall. The wall has seen it's share of action. Outside the wall is a train station: the only way in for visitors. The trains running to and from Du Bois are armored. I would like the cover of my book to show the readers where the book takes place and what type of surroundings they can expect. Please design both the front and back for a hardcover. Leave some space for the blurb at the back. At the front the title of the book "Du Bois" and the name of the series "Frozen Apocalypse" must be featured. My name as author must also be included.
This will be the first book out of 6 in this series. For the next books I want to use the same designer to create the covers. I have added a part of my manuscript for you to read. Please use this in confidentiality.

And then… they selected a winner!
Milan has provided several designs before settling for the current one. His flexibility and style are astonishing. One of the best designers I have worked with, he communicates very well and is extremely attentive to the client's requests. I would hire Milan on new projects without a doubt and I recommend his work and workmanship every time.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
