Don't Sweat the Distance: How To Survive the Toughest Days of Your LDR
Mark & Brianna Messick
Mark and Brianna met at a dance when they were just 16 years old. They were close friends throughout high school, went on several dates, but didn’t realize exactly how in love they were until 2 weeks before they were both about to fly to different parts of the world for the foreseeable future. And so began their 3 year journey of emails, text messages, FaceTime calls, joyful reunions, heart-wrenching hugs goodbye, and far too many airports. They have been married and living under the same roof since September of 2020. Now that they have finally made it to the finish line of their long distance relationship, they are grateful for all the lessons they’ve learned and the resulting strength of their relationship. They both agree that they are closer and love each other more deeply because they spent so much time apart. Their goal with the Long Distance Survival brand is to provide hope to those who are currently fighting to keep their own LDRs strong, meaningful, and fun.
Don't Sweat the Distance is a book full of relatable stories and actionable advice for people who are struggling to keep a long distance relationship afloat.
Anyone in a romantic long distance relationship, mostly young men and women in their mid 20s to early 30s. Definitely more of a millennial crowd than anything.
