What's your vision?
We need a book cover dust jacket designed for an author's fiction novel. It's the second book by the same author, but it's NOT a series, meaning you can take creative freedom in pretty much any of the images, colors, symbols, etc. The book is called "The Depths" and is about a fully-functional "city" under a dome that's beneath 5 miles of ocean. We're envisioning a cover that features part of a huge glass dome (obviously appearing large enough to house a small city) that's being illuminated by a submarine -- but that's just our initial thought. The book is a thriller, in the Action/Adventure category, and similar in scope and style to books by Clive Cussler, James Rollins, Dan Brown, Matt Reilly, and others. The author would like his first book and this one to look somewhat similar when on the shelf next to each other -- meaning (most likely) the same or similar font choices: 1. Steelfish - Main title font 2. Labtop Unicase - Author name 3. Century - Additional text (back cover, etc.) These font are definitely just options -- don't feel obligated to use them. Possible color schemes would be based on blues and greens ("underwater"y), dark purples, black and dark grays, etc., but again -- it's up to you! We've uploaded the first book so you can see how the fonts and design worked together, but again -- don't feel like you can't be creative here!
We'll need the .psd and/or any other uncompressed, unflattened files, as we'll need to use the cover design as an ebook cover, audiobook cover, and we'll need to put the proper ISBN number and spine size on the finished work.
