If you need a second logo for different business or product, or if you need multiple versions of your collateral, you have a couple of options: you can run a second contest, or you can start a 1-to-1 Project with your winning designer to create the additional assets.
Once my contest is over, can I continue to work with the winning designer?
Of course! We actually encourage you do so. You can use our 1-1 projects product to continue to work with your winning designer on other design projects (for an additional cost).
Who owns what copyright and when?
On 99designs, designers agree to upload only original artwork, so each designer owns the rights to their design submissions until you choose your contest’s winner. During the design handover stage, the designer agrees to transfer the rights, and you become the owner of the copyright of your winning logo and brand identity design.
