SS Global did a fantastic job with the Logo. I received over 127 Submissions and his different ideas all stood out over the rest. SS Global made multiple revisions, some at my request at some at his own liberties and each presented me with a different Logo to use. His timely responsiveness and willingness to work with me from day 1 of the project posting made him standout among all of the others. I highly suggest when working with him to keep an open line of communication and to consider all of his design proposals and he was a pleasure to work with.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Chain and Chalice is an interior design firm and will eventually sell our own product. We also offer tasteful, tailored interior design to our clients, and unique, one of a kind, hand-made product, whether it is a custom pillow tying together the colors of the space, or a custom painted silk mural. Chain and Chalice shares the same philosophy as the Arts & Crafts Movement at the turn of the 20th Century, while maintain a different, more contemporary aesthetic. The arts and crafts movement took ideas from medieval times, where iron workers and cabinet makers were considered artists. The name Chain and Chalice references that time. William Morris & Greene + Greene shared a similar belief - that the industrial revolution was killing craftsmanship. Chain and Chalice strives to bring craftsmanship back by creating custom, unique and hand-made designs in the modern world, with contemporary taste. I was thinking in the brown family like buckskin, or metallics? Or black? Basics.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I originally thought the home page of my site would be a sketch of an oversized chalice being constructed like a medieval castle with lots of construction platforms around it with mini workers working on it, kind of showing the work it takes to make a quality item. I thought of a "sketch" because I don't want my site to be too colorful, having the work and the product being center stage. I also don't want it to be too illustrative because it would take the luxury and maturity out of the brand. For a better idea of what I'm talking about, I've uploaded a piece of artwork where this is being done to a horse. This doesn't need to be incorporated into the logo, but it can be or maybe give you an idea of what I'm looking for. Hope that helps!
