IMPORTANT: Please do NOT use gender symbols (that brings up complex political problems) or hearts or handprints or body parts or people. Please also be careful referencing the idea of "two." Instead we would prefer you think "all" or "openness." This logo needs to be very different from generic LGBT logos that use obvious references (to love or gender) that unfortunately have become cliches at this point. We are very open to leaving off the word "the" entirely. In any case, we don't want "the" to be heavily emphasized. Please also be careful about connecting "the" to the word "bi" too much; we'd rather connect "bi" to "foundation."
Please be open to escaping the expected route of exploring combinations of "B" and "i" to create a logo. Instead think about these concepts:
more abstract ideas would be:
Please do NOT use the full bi flag colors or the LGBT rainbow flag. Those are just cliche at this point.
We'd like the logo's style to be stately, slick, impressive, confident, up-to-date. This needs to appeal to people who are secure in their status (don't flash their wealth or show off), who are doing well, and who are looking to make major donations to organizations in which they feel confident and which they find inspiring. Existing brands with that general aesthetic include: Apple, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Roche Bobois, Sonos, and Prada. We imagined the logo more focused on the name itself rather than having a random shape/icon, but are open to suggestions.
