Our Yellow Line Foundation
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our logo should include a yellow carnation and a small bumblebee somewhere in the design as these are images associated with our identity. Yellow is the color associated with endometriosis. If including both images is challenging to the design, please pick one image to focus on.
Our Yellow Line Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to creating, growing, and sustaining a community for women/girls who have endometriosis and for those who support women/girls with endometriosis. We call this community "Warriors" because they battle this disease everyday.
Endometriosis is where uterine tissue adheres and grows outside of the uterus. The tissue can attach to the bladder, ovaries, lungs, and anywhere else in the body it chooses to go. This disease causes severe pain, long-term bleeding, and depression due to lack of information.
176 million women are affected.
The logo should be equally appealing to a woman in her 30s and 40s as it is to someone in their teens and early 20s.
Our Yellow Line Foundation will focus on providing a safe and informative venue via social media and a website for Warriors to feel a sense of community, to share knowledge, and for our Board of Directors to assist them in communicating with their doctors and supporters.
