Mauro Jaurena was amazing to work with. From his multiple different design directions from the opening round, that led us to a direction we never would have come up with or imagined, clear through the final round where he was super responsive and extremely fast making any tweaks or changes we could think of to refine the idea. He gave extremely valuable feedback on the design perspective to what makes for a great logo and what to avoid. This was an amazing experience. We would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a creative, responsive and friendly (not to mention extremely patient) designer. Five Stars!!

Very talented designer with great communication skills.
Took my feedback and worked on the files as I needed.
It was a wonderful experience having the different changes made to the logo design and am looking forward to using it! Would definitely work with this designer again!

Who are you known as?
Miller's Custom Cabinets
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are located outside Kansas City, Mo in the historic town of Excelsior Springs, MO. Established in 1986, we build & install custom wood cabinets for custom residential homes. Middle aged families, most of the decision making done by the woman of the family. Most of our Kitchen Cabinets go to brand new home construction. Mid-high to high end buyers.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
We seem to be drawn towards Blacks, Grays and Gold/Yellow, but would definitely entertain a pop of color, and really we will probably end up doing the logo in different colors for merchandise, like shirts and things, so don't feel pigeon holed into these colors. We are open to being reinvented.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like the wood burned look and simplicity
We like the simple, clear branding, the clean look and the colors of the bottom logo
Easy to read, high end professional looking
We had mixed feelings in the group on this, definitely needs easier to read font, but we kinda like the look, maybe less scroll
Again, simple easy to read, instead of the mountain, maybe something different in the middle more toward a cabinet shop, could be a tree like in the Savory Logo, but not a drawn/sketch/cartoon look like this logo, a more solid font
We want the company name easy to read.
Limit to 3 colors, probably. Maybe incorporate a big "M" like our last logo had, but not necessary, we are looking to be reinvented, as we are launching a new website shortly, and it will be real high end and clean. We cater to high end customers.
