We need 2 mascots for Kids

We plan and coordinate events for children. We have magicshows, baloon modelling, face painting, bouncing castles, crafting, workshops,..
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want to put our "kids" part of the company under a new brand. The company name is Tambalina and we want 2 mascots (Tamba & Lina) which we can put on everything what has to do with children entertainment. If a shopping center wants kids entertainment we want to offer for example facepainting, a crafting station and baloon animals. The whole package will have the name "Tamba and Linas World" and the different station can be called "Linas Facepainting" "Crafting with Tamba" or "Tamba and Linas Baloon World"...
We want Tamba to be male and Lina female. The mascots shouldn't be human. Maybe some kind of friedly monsters or animal like. The girl shouldn't be too "girly". More cheeky like pipi langstrumpf or Ronja Rövardotter. :)
