Trung Tran got their new icon or button by running a design contest:
Android app Dropsync needs a new launcher icon

What's your vision?
Dropsync is a true two-way Dropbox sync client for Android. It's an established successful app published on Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ttxapps.dropsync Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com) is a popular cloud storage service, just in an unlikely case you haven't heard about it yet. Although Dropsync receives great user rating, many downloads and superb free-to-pro conversion rate, users don't like the app launcher icon. I grabbed a free icon from the web at the time of the first release and since then haven't done anything to improve it. The new icon should be delivered in PNG format in the following sizes: 36x36 px, 48x48 px, 72x72 px, 96x96 px, 144x144 px, and 512x512 px. (The last size is used in Google Play Store listing). The new launcher icon must somehow communite to the users that * the app is a (two-way) synchronization tool * it's about Dropbox (Some sort of subtle reference to Dropbox icon/color theme may suffice, we can assume the users know about Dropbox) The new launcher icon must follow Android design guideline: http://developer.android.com/design/style/iconography.html http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design_launcher.html http://petrnohejl.github.io/Android-Cheatsheet-For-Graphic-Designers/#screen-densities-and-icon-dimensions
If this turns out well, I'll have more graphics work for designers. At least I have a few other apps which definitely deserve better launcher icons.

Bigfam went above and beyond when designing our icon. He is very quick to respond and deliver. He makes sure that the needs are met and doesn't have any hesitation tweaking and redesigning to fit your needs. He delivers perfect files in what ever form you may need. I would highly recommend him.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
