"Super" innovative and diverse activities, businesses and projects including the "Wake Up Call" public service announcement project and G&C Comics.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
For the "Wake Up Call" project, creating a design for circular buttons and stickers that highlights the trademarked slogan, "10-2 Hold True". The goal is to remind drivers to keep their hands in the 10:00 and 2:00 position on the steering wheel. This will help prevent not only texting while driving, but also other types of distracted driving. I have attached a high level sketch for the button. The steering wheel is a face with two eyes in the upper two sections and the mouth in the wide lower section. The horn is the nose. Thinking he can have two cartoonish feet. His cartoon hands are supporting the word balloons (10-2 and Hold True). Will want the trademark designation "TM" included as well as another copy with the registered trademark symbol (circle around a capital "R"). I also have two hands in the 10-2 position on the steering wheel. Looking for ideas on whether they can serve as a hair or eyelashes, etc. Want the figure to be cute. Possibly it can have a driver's cap and scarf. Would like a relevant background too. Looking for creative options. One intended use is to have the button or sticker stuck to the car dashboard as a constant companion and reminder.
I'm planning to use Affordablebuttons.com to create the buttons. Their site says the design should be 300 dpi.
Also, the plan is to package the button and stickers with an illustrated card. The humorous, rhyming text is written for the card. Will need to contract out for illustrating it in the near future.
Please help me save lives! Good luck with the contest.
