African Parks is a non-profit conservation organisation that takes on the complete responsibility for the rehabilitation and long-term management of national parks in partnership with governments and local communities. We currently manage 14 national parks and protected areas in nine countries covering 10.5 million hectares: Benin, Central African Republic, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, the Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Zambia.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for a beautifully illustrated map of Africa showing where are parks are that we manage - how many counties, how many parks, what ecoregions they appear in. We have a portfolio of parks in Africa that is not only the largest but also the most diverse. A map is one of the most important ways that we illustrate these, therefore it needs to be beautiful. Map must be landscape orientation
There are 14 parks currently under our management:
Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique; Akagera National Park in Rwanda; Liuwa Plain National Park and Bangweulu Wetlands in Zambia; Liwonde National Park, Majete Wildlife Reserve and Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve in Malawi, Garamba National Park in the DRC, Odzala-Kokoua National Park in Congo, Chinko in Central African Republic; and Zakouma National Park, Siniaka Mania Faunal Reserve and Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve in Chad; and Pendjari National Park in Benin. A map showing the locations of each park can be found here https://www.dropbox.com/s/18y37e6vj…8.jpg?dl=0
