Entertainment & The Arts
Hey Everyone! We're the 99designs SocialClub team for Melbourne and we need the skills of a great designer to help us with a poster for an upcoming event - Christmas in July! We're all about planning events to make sure everyone has fun and for a little bit of background information this year we're looking at having it a 'Luna Park' which is a local carnival / amusement park. We're looking at getting a poster with some invite information and what everyone will need to know. I've included some style and requirements below. *Please let me know if you need anything else.
What's your vision?
Alright, so the requirements: We want the design to have a creepy carnival, bizarre type feel to it with the idea being that it's like freaks of the circus with that washed out old paper look. I've attached some images below and here is some further inspiration to work from at this Pinterest mood board: https://au.pinterest.com/coolwillyd/xmas-in-july-luna-park/ I understand that there is quite a level of detail here so I'm looking for something achievable. We want it to have that old school carnival 30s/40s horror feel to it. Think even something along the lines of Goosebumps. Please include the following information: Title: The 99designs SocialClub Presents: A Night at the Circus Xmas in July! Date: 30/7/2016 Time: From 5pm RSVP: TBC Dress Code: TBC
- We need an A3 sized poster which dimensions are width W297mm x H420mm or (11.7”x 16.5”). - Vector high resolution file in EPS and PDF format. - Some of the text (date, etc) may change so please keep in mind but the overall frame is all we need! Please let me know if you need anything else - look forward to working with you all!
