What's your vision?
Hey Everyone. This is going to be a fun project for you guys to do. I need a character sketch done for a chirstmas gift. The character is based off my father. It is a inside joke between us. He is fat but not "overweight". The Characters name is Plumpman to imply the "plump" and fatness he has. I'm a Graphic Designer, but not that good with original character designs. I will attached what photos I can to help. The Character/Project: The Character will be colored and drawn. Must have a certain style. The character has to have a comic book cover "issue #1, title, etc etc". The title will be The Adventures of Plumpman or Plumpman. A little bit about the character. He is fat. He always eats junk food. His super powers are farting that knocks out his enemies with intoxicating smells. The more he eats, the stronger he gets. He has super Sonic burping powers. His arch nemesis is Dr. Fitness who tries to make him healthy. I have the typography all picked out and how I know what I want it to look like. You just need to draw it. So the character. He is Fat, The costume is going to be purple. His belly has to be hanging out with a belly button showing, but the character must not be "overweight" just fat. He must have fat mans boobs, but not breasts (typical Fat man". Maybe the costumes shirt can be over the belly as it hangs out? He must be holding a cheese burger. His face mask must look like batmans in the style of showing the chin and mouth but hiding the nose. The face must has scruffiness or five o clock shadow. The top of the mask will have ears like mickey mouse. He will have a small yellow cape. The front shield will have a big Yellow "P" for Plumpman with a circle around it (Maybe not, I'm open to other ideas). He will have gloves, they should be yellow or white too. Boots, and yellow belt. As for designs on the suit, i'm open to ideas. The front of the cover had to have junk food piled up from left to right (candy, Burgers, Fries, Soda,) with him behind it, but the focus should be on him. Above him is "Plumpman or Adevntures of Plumpman (like a title of a comic book). It's a character introduction cover. Full body must be on the cover. Style: This stile should NOT be a quick cartoon. By this I mean it should not look like The simpsons or Family guy. It should be a character design, but nothing to detailed like some Superman Comics. I don't want you guys spending countless hours on details, unless you think it should be done. First upload a rough sketch or detailed sketch (however your process is) And I will rate it and approve for final designs. That way if I reject it you don't spend hours on 1 character.
