Imagine eBay in reverse. Instead of taking a product or service to the Interwebs and selling it, Bartertron starts with money then collects offers. Occasionally we'll just barter something cool or strange. But, the major difference is that BarterTron only accepts offers for a specific time -- once the clock counts down to zero, the barter is over, and a "winner" is announced.
What's your vision?
What I need is 5 different robots. Yes, believe it. BarterTron 100 (for $100 barters) BarterTron 500 (for $500 barters) BarterTron 1000 (are you getting the idea?) BarterTron 10K (really?) BarterTron 1M (oh yeah, a million bucks!) Please see our mockup and my highly advanced wireframe (I'm working on a better version tonight). http://bartertron.com/100 http://bartertron.com/500 http://swantron.com/cool-robot/ (not ours!) http://www.paradeoffreaks.com/2008/10/02/another-cool-robot-sketch/ (also not ours!) These robots should be likeable, funny, and interesting. They should grow tougher and more comically menacing as the dollar amount increases. The branding is important on this one, guys! BarterTron will serve as our banner, so there should be some identifier on each robot. Please let me know what you need to get funky with this. We're looking forward to a good competition. Thanks.
We like to have fun and be creative. We want to have a successful website with lots of traffic, of course. But, mostly we want to create something that is going to make people happy. Thanks! pat
