Highway 30A in South Walton Florida is home to a series of beach communities, and a popular vacation destination for the Southeast U.S. Imagine 20k full-time residents and 3.2M visitors annually. There are a couple dominant local lifestyle brands (30a.com and sowal.com) that are somewhat mainstream and tourism-focused. 30 Native (30nAtive? 30native.com?) is an attempt to create a "locals only" brand for the people who actually live here. Ideally, the "30" and the "A" will be emphasized. Something exclusive, tropical, but rustic. Easily identifiable, but not "in your face". A logo that transfers easily across media but starts with a colorful sticker, i.e. embroidery, etc. Possibly with a registration #? Think slightly jaded, hip beach local, but who is still southern polite and friendly.
Tourist: "Hey man, that's a cool 30native.com shirt? Where can I get one?"
Local: "I'm so sorry, but y'all can't get one. It's kind of a local thing."
Tourist: "But I have money and will pay."
Local: "Bless your heart." <-- Southern for "F U."
