We believe our consumer-centric culture hurts the planet and generates a lot of waste. We also believe that there's a huge group of people who WANT to buy alternative products - more sustainable solutions that help make a better planet - but that finding and understanding these products is a lot of work.
For products, think about those wool dryer balls that people are using in place anti-static sheets. Or organic, biodegradable versions of household cleaners that don't leave nasty chemical residue that ends up in our water table. Then think of a line of 20-50 products like this, with BeWondrous as the over-arching brand.
It's important for us to not be preachy with this. We want to be relentlessly, ridiculously upbeat - when people think helping the planet is an unsolvable problem, they shut down, and we want them to believe that together we can all make a Wondrous future. Think Spongebob merger with Modern Family's Phil Dunphy, if those two channeled all of their crazy energy into making the planet better. We want to have fun with this - more people are willing to join the cause when we approach it that way.
We also need this to be a no bullshit brand. There's a lot of hype and lies out there about sustainable products. We want to speak to truth, and help guide people to better decisions.
