I was skeptical how I would communicate with a the designer whom I would not meet face to face .But Deea has done a fantastic job in delivering exactly what I was looking for . She's easy to work with.
How bibliovca started their logo design journey
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Hi! I'm a book-review blogger for almost three years now and I write reviews of popular books of various genres in Croatian. When I started my blog three years ago, it was just a test to see if I could stick with something for some time, if I could practice discipline - to write 100 reviews, however good or bad they are. But that "test" turned into a lovely community of booklovers who read my reviews and asked me to continue writing after I finished my 100th review.
I see my blog as a symbol of perseverance and stubbornness - there were many obstacles along the way and I pushed myself to write. I named the blog Bibliovca, "ovca" part meaning "sheep" in Croatian; and Aries is my zodiac sign - passionate and stubborn. And we booklovers, especially working mothers with young kids (aged 20-35), are stubborn and passionate readers - we usually go mad if we don't read for at least 20 minutes a day. :)

Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

When I started my blog, I had an idea for a logo but no one to draw it for me. So I did the job myself (I don't even remember what software I used), not believing things would take off in a couple of years...
I still like how my logo looks like - I like it round, and I like this symbol - but it's all wobbly and uneven and messy. I would like to see it in this white on black-circle version, but I would also like to see it as a combination of empty shapes, just elegant black lines and white space. I would be happiest with a polished, cleaned up, black and white version of the same logo - straighter and thinner lines, white line on black circle, no decorative borders, but I'm very open to (and eager to see) some new concepts.
I would like to mention also, if you decide to go with a new concept, that a letter "B" is the only letter I would like to see accentuated (blog name is Bibiovca); there is no letter "V" - this current logo is a combination of an Aries simbol (left part of the logo represents a horn, and the right part continues to a letter "B") and a letter "B". So, no "V". Thank you. :)
