Earth Matters
This logo is meant for a music project. Earth matters is reggae influenced pop/rock songs with consciously provocative lyrics about the most pressing issues on Earth today!
Similar artists include Jason Mraz, Magic!, Train, Mana, among others, but lyrics will NOT be the typical love lyrics, but rather about activist issues that concern every living thing on the planet. Some examples of these issues are Genetically modified foods (GMOs), fracking, modern medicine, etc. You can listen to a few seconds of music to get an idea here:

IDEAL FAN
The ideal fan is:
-primarily between 25-40 years old
- over 60% are women
-household is well educated and most enjoy comfortable incomes
-Most live in the United States and enjoy a very specific lifestyle: organic food, probably engaged in meditation or yoga, they are concerned about the environment and earth, they are very likely parents that practice conscious parenting as opposed to authoritarian parents.
-They prefer natural medicine to modern medicine. Some websites and celebrities they tend to visit include Mercola.com, David Wolfe, Longevity Warehouse, Kris Carr.JJ Virgin, among others.
About the logo:
I am NOT looking for something specific but please read through this guidelines:
1- Logo should be SIMPLE: I like simple logos that summarize the identity of a brand, and stand out even if you see them as small icons (keep in mind this will be a music project and logo might go on an itunes cover for example, which looks really small in a computer screen). Some examples that come to mind are Apple, Fedex (wih the arrow hidden), amazon (with the arrow pointing from a to z), Volkswagen, target, michellin (love the tire man), nike (love the greek goddess of victory meaning on this one).
2- A FEW colors are preferred: As you can see from the examples, in my humble opinion, few colors work better than a lot. Since this is earth related, perhaps earth’s colors might be an option (like blue, green, brown…)- just an idea though.
3- LEGIBLE FONTS work better: Because the logo has to be legible in small size, clear legible fonts are probably going to work better. Some examples that might also be aligned with the type of project include Whole Foods, Panera, Tesla, Spire Tracker, retro restaurant fonts might also be worth looking into since retro fonts always stand out and are typically very legible.
