Our organization is a community near Atlanta, Georgia called New Manchester. It has many outdoor opportunities (mountain biking, trail running, kayaking, etc) considering its close proximity to Atlanta and residents prefer high quality.
It was founded in 1849 to become the leading producer of high quality cotton textile, which was a distinction held by Manchester, England. Not long after the large mill was built on Sweetwater Creek the mill was burned in the Civil War. The remnants of the mill still stand and serve as a landmark to people familiar with the area. We are trying to reach people that don't know the area, so this is not extremely important to us but interesting.
Our target audience is a married triathlete (running, swimming, biking) with children who works an executive job for a Fortune 500 company. He or she would fit in fine in Austin, Texas or Asheville, North Carolina but still fully respects southern sensibilities. He or she loves the outdoors but appreciate the convenience of a large city. He or she prefers quality in every regard.
See http://www.newmanchester.org for our existing identity which launched September 2012. Winning designer may be consulted on ongoing design projects.
