NEWCB understood my vision perfectly and gave me multiple choices to choose from. She is really patient and so easy to talk to which is something I appreciate in a artist like her. I will be using her services for all of my future projects.
Response time was wonderful. Responded within 24 hours and worked on the project right away. He took all the information I gave him to design exactly what I imagined in my mind and couldn't do myself. Overall happy with this artist.
I like the simplicity of the design.

1 On top of the word "starflake" the logo could include the word "records" and or "music production". Bit in general less text is better.
2 I'm imagining flakes of stars that are somehow a microphone at the same time. But perhaps that doesn't make any sense. You could also use the concept of crystals on snow flakes.
3 Anything simplistic, yet raw and with energy, will probably work.
