Entertainment & The Arts
The project would be established as a signature promotional event for the City of Cape May and a fund raising event for Cape May Forum. It would also have an educational component highlighting Cape May as a major Commercial Seafood Port (2nd largest on the East Coast) and Recreational Fishing/ Boating vacation destination. By being strategically scheduled at the beginning of the summer the FESTIVAL would be a vehicle to promote the Seafood / Maritime / Fishing tie-in events throughout the weekend. If possible the first year (or over time) the goal will be to build to a weekend of Cape May Forum co-sponsored events through-out the community focused on the natural resources of our seafood bounty and its contribution to our economy and quality of life in Cape May – at the shore. While the first year(s) of the Seafood Festival might need to be subsidized, the goal is for the CAPE MAY SEAFOOD FESTIVAL to become self-supporting, covering all costs while raising funds for Cape May Forum’s educational purposes.

Shervin with SJ Designs is a wonderful designer. We were blessed, as a School District, to work with him. If you need a top-rate logo or mascot then you won't be disappointed.
Thank you, Shervin for your hard work!
