We are a new e-tail website selling the latest contemporary lifestyle / homeware products that are both evocative and essential. The products available are beautifully designed and will be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Our target audience is the person who gets pleasure from design and enjoys looking for it. They will acknowledge style, be socially gregarious and very trend aware. They will want to feel part of the projected social lifestyle we will portray within the website and feel that they are doing so when buying from our website
Logo types to explore
We need a logo that will be both provocative yet recognisable. Seductive not exclusive, charming yet enchanting. We want the consumer to feel they are entering Coral and Bone world, a warm intriguing wonderland they would want to be part of. Our design influences are: Victorian Circus posters, illusionists, James Bond (Live and Let Die), Alice in Wonderland surrealism. We have a special fondness of texture: especially bone carvings, lace, filigree which we feel should be utilised into the design. The logo will be our company's look and feel and this will dictate our design direction for all subsequent communication, and marketing including social networking. Do: Study the collages included in the brief, this is the directional look and feel we would like to achieve with our company Don't: Go for anything twee or too minimal
