pakosloski got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create Star Wars Style Logo for new book series
Check out pakosloski's Logo design contest…
The product will be a series of books on the real life monks of Skellig Michael, an island featured in the latest Star Wars movie, the Last Jedi. The books will aim to attract Star Wars fans to learn more about the monks who lived on the island centuries ago.
My hope is to have a logo that evokes the Last Jedi logo, but is unique and hearkens back to the Irish monks on Skellig Michael. It should have a ancient feel to it as well. Besides the words, the logo can feature an outline of the island itself, which can either be in the background, or somehow incorporated into the words. Any type of celtic imagery that can be tied in is also welcomed.
