The design itself has been very successful for us. also the unique feature "R" should be recognizable. The "R" sysmbol would have to be better. A how expression

The catch phrase is "Where online contacts become offline connections". Though I currently have a logo, I am having my home page revamped to be more modern, simple, and interactive looking. The colors are shades of blue and orange. My website developer suggested that since this is a social network I should consider having a simplified logo similar to Facebook, Twitter, Google, Youtube, Microsoft, Pinterest. He said that my current logo is too complex and better fits a product logo than a Social Network logo. I just don't want the logo to look boring though. I Iike the modern look of Facebook and I am trying to go for a hip, fresh, and trendy brand that would appeal to the 25-45 age range. I've attached my current logo (1st and last images, different versions) and an additional logo(2nd image) (that is not mine) that I found on google. I really like this other one because though it's simple, still pops which I really like. I also like how the shades of blue fade into each other and almost glows. Definitely looks modern too. The 3rd circular design is another cool concept. The middle one though definitely stands out the most which I like. It's unforgettable, easily recognizable. An additional idea is one that ties in hands shaking or people in a circle...which shows the networking aspect. However, I'm not sure how that look could translate into a social network logo though and not be too complex.
