Logo types to explore
I have attached a picture file of a hammer and nail from Wiki Media Commons. I like the picture, because I am looking for a logo that sends the message "This is your hammer to nail your problem". I have also attached the picture file of the cover of my first e-book, "Every1's Guide to Electronic Contracts" that I hope sends the message "This is a company that can explain digital contract law." My logo would ideally combine both messages. I have pictured two elements in my mind; first, a hammer made of a numeral "1" (the handle) and the numeral "0" (the head) nailing a nail, as in the picture above; and second, the initials of my company in all small letters "egp", with the "g" a capital letter in small size, so that the first two letters look like two circles next to each other, differentiated only by the break for the cross-bar starting in the second quadrant for the first circle, and starting in the first quadrant for the second circle. The cross-bars would only extend to the center of the circles, like a radius line. The third letter "p" would be a combination of the numerals "1" and "0", with the "0" being a circle like the first two letters. Ideally, the complete logo would combine both of these ideas, with the hammer and nail image above, and below immediately visible and identifiable in small or large scale the stylized initials, with the name "Every1's Guide Press" below the initials (stylized or not). The colors do not need to be the same red and gray colors of the cover of my first book. Maybe this is too much information for one logo. Conveying the messages through images of "This is the tool for your problem" and "Translating computerese and legalese into plain language" are the most important things.
