This is a new clothing line, primarily marketed to gay guys, which will start with high-quality fitted cotton t-shirts and vests. Over time I’ll be expanding the line to include underwear and swimwear (amongst other things).
The name PMPD is pronounced pumped. I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll be marketing as PMPD or PMPD London. I’m open, initially, to designs using either. Also, at the moment I’m relaxed about whether it’s upper/lower/mixed case.
The design needs to work in both colour and monochrome as it will be used on clothes labels, the clothes themselves, websites and all other marketing materials.
I’m keen that the design contains a graphic element (some kind of picture/logo), I don’t want it just as words.
Gay guys from 17-50. I’m initially planning on targeting gay guys who are fairly well built (gym-fit) and men serious about the gym. However, as I gather feedback this may develop into a broader market.
The marketing material will feature very muscled and very lean guys wearing the t-shirts. It’ll be edgy and slightly homoerotic photography and videography.
This will be an affordable brand, not super-luxury, but not cheap. The clothes will be fitted, flattering, good quality and good value.
The aim here is to build a loyal following without exploiting them.
I need a modern stylish logo consisting of an interesting and eye-catching graphic and clear lettering.
The website will be a clean design, black or white background, to be decided. The logo will also be on the clothes which will be white, black, blue and red. It will also be on clothes labels.
Please avoid clichés pink triangles, rainbow flags, male arrow symbols etc. Please avoid clipart. Nothing religious.
I'd like to see everything from very colourful to monochrome. If it is colour though, it needs to work in mono and be supplied in both formats.
Styles I like are:
I will be building my brand both through social media, advertising and networking, the logo needs to be eye catching and memorable.
I need the logo and true type font in all the appropriate formats for these files (jpegs/psds – in CMYK & AdobeRGB) please.
