There were many great designs in the contest but 98th designer had the one design that stopped us in our tracks. 98th really took all the information I had provided to come up with something that was tremendous.

Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Hewn is an online journal for creators, makers and entrepreneurs who are designing sustainable products in places they love. At Hewn we believe the where is just as important as the who, how and the what of your business.
Each monthly issue will have a theme and all the articles for the month will relate to the theme- the first will be "nourishment" and we're interviewing a woman who makes dehydrated backpacking food, a man who is selling bone broth to his local Whole Foods, and a site that helps farmers get their products to buyers. Next month's issue will be wood- we'll have a couple that are making items from pallets...
We especially like interviewing people who believe in the triple bottom line: people, planet, profit. Eventually resources will be added to help others develop their own online businesses.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
