It was great that Evert understood what I was going for right from the beginning based on the brief and references provided. This really made the collaboration an effective one. It was also nice to see that he could interpret the brief in his own way.
Great job, great communication, perfect guy!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Sound & Canvas is a physical creative space dedicated to experimenting, producing and showcasing music with other mixed-media works. This space is for all ages - particularly individuals who are looking for a conducive space to collaborate and practise a combination of music and other art forms (live music with visual art for example; live music with contemporary dance; composing music for film and other broadcast media; beat poetry; installations; sonic sculptures, etc).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Entertainment & The Arts
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Let your freak flag fly on the abstract elements. I would like a logo that resonates and intrigues - which can make you stop and think, instead of giving it all away. The logo name doesn't have to take complete focus. I am trying to avoid obvious allusions to musical instruments and such. Please carefully refer to references attached, and pay attention to my brief. The logo has to come across as unique, abstract, artistic as well as simple and elegant. No cliches or imitating other entries.
