How will we judge the winning logo design?
Colour needs to be attractive, but not garish (i.e. not obtrusively bright and showy)
The design of the logo should allow the brand to be easily adapted onto our products and marketing material.
The design should allow for minor variations to be able to be presented on different background colours, textures and images.
Must aim to embody the description and key-words as above
The brand logo should also be presented with a unique mark, but we are not enthusiastic about the use of the initials TL. Although blending the initials into the creative may be experimented with.
Our company mascot will be a pug dog that we will feature subtly in marketing material.
Exmaple logo’s we like the look and feel of include:
Hacket, Van Cleef & Arples, Graaf, Liberty London, Ted Baker London, Coach
Anything else to communicate to the designers?
We would like the logo to be able to be displayed with or without the word “London”. Whilst the primary company name will be “Thomas London”, we require the option to be able to use just the shortened brand “Thomas”. As such “Thomas” should be able to stand on it’s own simply by removing the name “London”.
