Rocio was very receptive to our brief. Additionally, we loved all her new ideas when she took artistic liberty with respect to minor changes in the design. She was also very timely in responding to all our questions and requests for changes. We would definitely recommend her and would be happy to use her again in the future.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a portrait photographer specializing in custom created fine art portraits of children, families, high school seniors and pets incorporating hand tinting and embellishments such as "diamond dust" if my clients so desire. (I have traditionally specialized in children, hense the name Blue Pixie. I wanted something whimsical and I live in Lake Tahoe where Blue is a popular term.) My old business from 1993-2001 was only hand-tinted black and white photography, but when I started up again after an 8 year break, digital had hit the scene so I shoot in color or b&w now. Post production, adding artistic mediums to my work, is my passion. In addition, I also have a glass fusion studio within my studio, where I conduct art classes and can host parties where adults and children can create glass fusion works of art. I am just starting this part of my business up again. (Before pursuing photography, I was a special events coordinator so I still love doing parties!)

I would like to keep my pixie girl incorporated into my new logo. My current logo is the bluepixie portraits logo and the girl with this logo, which is also on my current business card, is more refined. She was a piece of clip art we added color to the wings of years ago & I have always incorporated her into my logos. I am looking for something more elegant with a prettier font, yet refined and professional. I have been Blue Pixie Creative Art Portraits; Blue Pixie Portraits; and Blue Pixie Studio & Gallery as I used to have a retail gallery. I now have a photography studio and an art studio within my space. I'm not quite sure how to incorporate both into my logo or if I should have one logo with two different tag lines depending on what I am marketing or two related but separate logos. i.e.: Blue Pixie Photography; OR Blue Pixie Fine Art Photography; OR Blue Pixie Portraits; (any of these can have the tag line: b&w - color - hand tinted - embellished) OR no tag line if too complicated. I just like to have that as an option on the logo so my specialties are noted. Then, Blue Pixie Studio for the glass classes OR just Blue Pixie - Photography & Fine Art for both and just have that one logo. I'm open to suggestions!! Please email me with questions or suggestions to discuss before designing if that would help clarify. You can view my web-site, as well, at bluepixiephoto.com. Thank you!!
