A lot of outdoor lighting companies do not carry the state required low voltage specialty or general electrical license to install outdoor lighting. A lot of our competition in that market comes from irrigation or landscape companies, who are not properly licensed or knowledgeable. When it comes to a general electrician, they don't really grasp the low voltage aspect of these systems and certainly do not get the creative and artistic side that sets our projects apart. Think of it as artistry in lighting rather than just flooding or washing something with light. We take a lot of care to specify the proper color temperatures and beam spreads to achieve the desired outcome.
For the commercial side, we will be selling commercial fixture packages for hotels, medical facilities, colleges, think anything commercial. At first we will be bidding these fixtures only and allowing another electrician to do the installs. This will be for a brief time period while we get our team in place to be able to install large commercial interior. I need the site to go ahead and speak to the install of those projects. We are not interested in general residential interior. So outdoor lighting, like we do and commercial fixture and install, parking lot LED upgrades/retrofit. We are also unique in the sense that we are selling commercial fixtures directly from distributor without rep, so cutting out 1 extra hand in the pot, saving the end user on their budgetary needs.
