Great to work with, really came up with some great stuff.
We really liked the idea. It was something different. Something out oft the box.

The job was a logo design for our real estate solutions company. The designer was very efficient and quick with any corrections or design changes I requested. His communication was good and made sure we knew he was on top of it.
- MY ARYAZIN
The designer did a great job. They provided a couple of "almost there" designs that showed they followed the brief. Then as a finalist they were quick and accurate with the small changes that took the logo from good to great.
Very good design. Perfectly captured the idea we were looking for.

Mental Health First Aid Australia (MHFA) is an established charity that produces a number of mental health first aid courses. Mental health first aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of a mental health problem, or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves. We have a standard MHFA course and also courses for youth, older persons, gambling and more and so there is no one demographic. The idea was the brain child of our founders and since it's inception it has spread to 22 countries and is growing all the time. The other MHFA charities around the world have come up with their own branding that used our original logo as a starting point. We are looking to evolve our current logo to make it fresher and more modern and this new logo will form part of a wider rebrand.

We have attached our current logo in two orientations for reference. There are two elements to this current version. The 1st is the first aid cross in green which has been useful for promoting the organisation in the past as it links people to the idea of physical first aid and helped people make the mental link between our courses being similar to the wide spread 'physical' first aid courses that are run all over the world, with our courses revolving around people's 'mental' health instead. The 2nd element of our logo is the Australian native flannel flower which has been chosen as the national symbol to promote mental health awareness in Australia. We are open to seeing logos with the cross symbol in some shape (maybe more modern) and if the flannel flower can be incorporated in some way that could be good but not 100% needed. I have also attached a draft version of a program design that we are working on as it shows the tinted shapes in teal (at the top) and the gradient colour wash of blues and teal tints that we are looking to adopt into the branding along with a more contemporary font choice (see the text 'WORK WITH US'). Font choices should be modern and non serif. We have included some logo examples that play around with the 'cross' idea for reference. Following the first part of the contest we would like all designers to note that we are not keen to see anymore of the following logo elements: symbols of people in a circle, hearts, medical heart beat graphs, lotus flower designs.
We thank you for all your efforts in this competition and wish you good luck.
