Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Navigate the news
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a news app (think "Google News") that collects news from around the world.
1) We presents the news in form of a mind map where each news story leads the reader to another related story. A whole bunch of connected stories...
2) For each story we show all the related articles from various news organisations side by side so that the reader can compare the different perspectives.
3) All stories are also shown on a real map (globe of the world) so the reader can travel the world to catch up on what is happening.
Our audience is news lovers, anyone interested in discovering multiple sides of a story and people who want to travel in their minds from one event to the next. Core group is 25 - 45 age group but should also speak to a more established audience.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Entertainment & The Arts
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are called TANGNT (i.e. "tangent") because your news journey is going to take you off on a tangent.
We want to incorporate the idea of a tangent line coming out of a story and leading to another. (google "tangent" for an idea) together with the idea of seeing things from a global perspective.
See the first two files for an idea of what the UIX will look like (picture of big Globe and of small Globe with Nodes).
Attached are a few ideas we had (zip file). They are by far NOT ideal and just some suggestions. We are looking for a talented and INSPIRED design that is clean, simple and yet incorporates the above ideas.
