Floral & Event Design
UPDATE: 7:30pm 10/21/17 I've decided to go the route of either of the following 2 options: 1. An Abstract garage of the one my studio is in--see pinterest board for exact photo for inspiration, with some floral elements/accents around it-not too busy or too detailed of a garage OR 2. A circle or shape of a circle with "Hudson Botanica" lining it/creating the shape and including: "Floral & Event Design" after it---with an icon/graphic of a paintbrush and hammer criss crossing one another to form an X (dead center) with a variety of flowers weaving in and surrounding the paint brush and hammer. NOTE***small graphic of hammer and paintbrush---more emphasis on florals weaving in and overgrowing on them---the X should not take up the entire inside of the circle shape AND* paintbrush should be the kind you'd touch up a wall in your home with---not the thin type to paint or watercolor etc with. One in black and white and one in color. PLEASE SEE UPDATED PINTEREST BOARD---NO CLIP ART Please or anything childlike & Infantile---Looking for realistic, vintage botanical elements here shown on P board: https://www.pinterest.com/hannymcphie/hudson-botanica-inspa/) *love san serif fonts (futura..wes anderson's stuff) , 70's matte/pastel/muddy color palettes, typically prefer lower case typically or all caps....not too childlike or too feminine---lean towards a more androgyness feel... IMPORTANT---> **also the studio is located in an awesome renovated garage---would definitely love to maybe see this incorporated some how? PIC ATTACHED BELOW--- hudson botanica is a woman run floral *AND* design studio, based in a quaint and sleepy town along the Hudson river. The water and the river are really central to my sense of being and a huge source of inspiration...and is so, so interconnected to everything that is NY and what grows here--and has such an incredibly rich history in and of itself... The name is also synonymous to a sense of home and welcoming (to me), and that is one of the things we are ultimately aiming to capture... As a floral design company, we create custom and unique floral designs and concepts for events, installations, weddings, private residences, and editorial styling. As a design studio, we work with all sorts of mediums to create immersive experiences that are both beautiful, purposeful and speak to all of our senses. HB specializes in creating floral designs with a dreamy, serene and wild aesthetic. HB's designs seek to captivate, by curating special moments with floral installations and styling flowers throughout the world creating emotion, movement and inspiration in the process. Target audience---A younger generation of brides/grooms and brands---looking for something non-traditional and recognize flowers for the art form they are
