Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We know the components and colors of the logo: heart over hand and orange and blue as represented in the screen shots.
Loving how the orange plays of Twitter and Facebook and social share buttons, and the teal can be used to give some familiarity and pop at the same time in the badges as its a contrasting color! This color contrast could make a huge impact when it comes to gamification!
(referring to the current logo version in the screen shot)
Still not a fan of the hand in the logo, the logo looks disjointed with too much negative space between the heart and hand or perhaps its just the styling of the hand that puts me off, it almost looks old-fashioned (its good to imagine the icon is LOVED by the younguns, then we know its on trend and will have a more universal, household feel) . I feel the logo should already have that app icon vibe to it (i.e. overall dimensions square, or at least aalllllmost square), and something about the hand just doesn't say, "this is a world-known logo that everyone recognizes", its a bit 'fluffy' if you get me. In my mind there should be two main versions of the logo: 1) Icon style, square-ish in dimensions
Elongated word format incorporating the GIVRR acronym. The font used for option two currently just doesn't seem to have an original logo vibe to it, too plain font and spacing between letters is too far apart to have a cohesive look. The branding vibe is just a little lackluster or doesn't scream brand identity, its just a liiiittle offpoint to me. (Hoping this long explanation conveys my thoughts well here).. .oh and to help perhaps come up with an original concept, what does GIVRR stand for? I am seeing a GI-(V in a heart)-RR logo in my mind. I Would also suggest following twitter and facebook in having more emotive and friendly and social font choice for the logo, currently too neutral. Being very persnickety and viewing multiple options for font choice for the logo is worth the pains of fiddling about now.
