The Road Ahead

The International Order of the Sword and Pen - The IOSP fosters an international community which shares openly with our fellows in a diverse exploration and exchange of techniques, processes, theories and practices as applied to combat for stage, stunts, and the martial arts, both contemporary and historical with open-mindedness, magnanimity and curiosity.
We hold workshops where people from the theatre, film and historical combat communities come together participate in workshops to learn and explore. Our principle workshop can be found here http://www.paddycrean.com and our website is here http://www.iosp.org
This logo will be our workshop logo which we have been having for the last 20 years and this year we are looking at "the road ahead" for what the next 20 years will bring.

Items we would like to include:
Mountains - Iconic to Banff National Park (where we hold our workshop at Banff Centre)
Sword(s) - Nothing fantastical, incorporated into the imagery (I've included pictures as examples of the weapons we work with)
Road
Red Colour - our red color that can be found on our IOSP logo is icon to our workshop and would like it to be included somehow.
Style:
We have had very cartoonie logos in the past and we would like to go in a different direction this year. Simple lines, more use of negative space, something artistic and graceful

I'm attaching a handful of images including some past logos for reference but note that we don't want the cartoon like feel this time around.
We will be be using this logo on our website as well as on workshop t-shirts and items.
