Tylerneylon needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 84 designs submitted by 30 freelance designers.
The Cost of Knowledge
This is a philanthropic boycott aimed at promoting free-to-read research publication, and discouraging high costs of academic journals.
The first use of the logo will be as a twitter avatar, so it would be nice if it did not have small details -- more like an Apple apple or a Nike swish than a Harley-Davidson emblem. Thank you!
