Richard2039 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help The Cyber Security Round Table with a new logo
Check out Richard2039's Logo design contest…
We are a non-profit based in Washington DC. We bridge the gap between security technologists (geeks) and policy makers (wonks) by introducing them to each other in a series of closed door meetings. In this way we hope to see informed legislation and policy making and involved technologists.
Logo types to explore
The logo should feature the letters CSRT and also the spelled out Cyber Security Round Table. It should impart the idea of bridging, connecting, bringing two sides together (remember King Arthur's knights of the round table?) We want to appeal to geeks and policy types at once. Geeks are Internet savvy and like digital elements (I think) Policy makers feel comfortable with the Presidential Seal.

It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Richard2039 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
